Free 15-Day Better Today Practice
BETTER TODAY • FREE PRACTICE
Your mirror is only the beginning.
The mirror is a reminder. The practice is what matters.
REFLECT • RENEW • RELAX
How to use the 15-Day Practice
Give yourself a few intentional minutes each day. Look into your mirror when you can. Read the day’s reminder, move through Reflect, Renew and Relax, then speak the Mirror Declaration out loud.
Reflect — Observe honestly. Renew — Rehearse and embody the person you choose to become. Relax — Take one meaningful action, then release what you cannot control.
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is to practice.
DAY 1 OF 15
THE FIRST CONVERSATION
Begin with the person in the mirror.
REFLECT: Look into the mirror. Before fixing, judging, or rushing, simply notice yourself. Ask: Who am I today?
RENEW: Choose the tone of your first conversation. Speak to yourself as someone worth guiding, loving, and developing.
RELAX: Carry one sentence into the day: I will participate in this day on purpose.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I am here. I am participating. I am feeling Better Today.
DAY 2 OF 15
THE POWER WITHIN
Remember that your current experience is not the whole of who you are.
REFLECT: Ask: What part of me have I been overlooking because I am focused on circumstances?
RENEW: Imagine responding today from strength, wisdom, patience, and possibility instead of fear.
RELAX: Choose one action that proves you have influence over how you participate today.
MIRROR DECLARATION: The power is within, no matter what is happening without.
DAY 3 OF 15
GRATITUDE
Use gratitude as a doorway back to what is already present.
REFLECT: Name three things that are true and good right now. Small things count.
RENEW: Let gratitude change the frame. Ask: What becomes possible when I stop seeing only what is missing?
RELAX: Express one piece of gratitude out loud, in writing, or directly to another person.
MIRROR DECLARATION: There is always something to be grateful for.
DAY 4 OF 15
IDENTITY
The size of your identity influences the size of your life.
REFLECT: Ask: Who am I when I am not reduced to a title, mistake, role, fear, or circumstance?
RENEW: Picture yourself living today from a larger identity — connected, capable, and still becoming.
RELAX: Do one thing that your expanded self would do today.
MIRROR DECLARATION: Who I am is greater than what I can currently see.
DAY 5 OF 15
REFLECT
See yourself and your life honestly.
REFLECT: Observe: What am I thinking? What am I feeling? What am I believing? What is actually true?
RENEW: Separate observation from judgment. You do not have to condemn what you notice in order to change it.
RELAX: Write down the one truth you most need to remember today.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I Reflect with honesty.
DAY 6 OF 15
AWARENESS
Awareness creates room for choice.
REFLECT: Notice one recurring thought, emotion, or reaction without trying to fight it.
RENEW: Ask: Is this pattern helping me become who I choose to be? What would a more useful pattern feel like?
RELAX: When the old pattern appears today, pause before responding.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I can notice without becoming what I notice.
DAY 7 OF 15
RENEW
Practice the life you choose before life asks you to live it.
REFLECT: Choose one situation you are likely to face today.
RENEW: Rehearse it mentally. See yourself speaking, deciding, and responding from your best self.
RELAX: When the real moment arrives, remember the rehearsal and participate intentionally.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I Renew through intentional living.
DAY 8 OF 15
REHEARSE
Repetition gives your intention somewhere to live.
REFLECT: Ask: What quality do I want to embody today — patience, courage, love, focus, service, discipline?
RENEW: Close your eyes and imagine three ordinary moments where you express that quality.
RELAX: Choose one cue — your mirror, a doorway, your phone, or a breath — to remind you of that quality.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I practice the person I choose to become.
DAY 9 OF 15
WHOLENESS
You do not have to wait for perfect circumstances to live fully.
REFLECT: Ask: What am I telling myself must happen before I can feel whole, peaceful, or worthy?
RENEW: Imagine releasing that condition. Practice the feeling first, before the outside world changes.
RELAX: Take one action from wholeness rather than from the need to prove something.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I choose to live from wholeness instead of fear.
DAY 10 OF 15
RELAX
Relax is not doing nothing. It is acting without trying to control everything.
REFLECT: Ask: What is mine to do today, and what is not mine to control?
RENEW: Picture yourself completing your part with excellence, then releasing the outcome.
RELAX: Do the next meaningful thing. Then let the result unfold.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I Relax through faithful action.
DAY 11 OF 15
RELEASE
Peace grows when participation replaces control.
REFLECT: Name one outcome, opinion, mistake, or uncertainty you have been gripping too tightly.
RENEW: Ask: What changes if I give my best effort without demanding a specific result?
RELAX: Take the action you can take. Consciously release what happens next.
MIRROR DECLARATION: Peace comes from participation, not control.
DAY 12 OF 15
PERSPECTIVE
A different frame can reveal a different life.
REFLECT: Choose one situation that has been bothering you. Describe it as neutrally as you can.
RENEW: Ask: What else could this mean? What might this be showing me? What opportunity could exist inside it?
RELAX: Act on the most constructive interpretation that is still honest.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I can change my frame without denying reality.
DAY 13 OF 15
DECISION
Better decisions begin before the decision point.
REFLECT: Think of one decision you need to make. Ask: What is true? What matters? Who do I choose to be in this decision?
RENEW: Imagine the decision from fear, then from your expanded identity. Notice the difference.
RELAX: Choose the smallest next action that aligns with the person you want to be.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I choose from identity, not fear.
DAY 14 OF 15
BECOME A REMINDER
What you practice can become something you give.
REFLECT: Ask: What has these two weeks reminded me about myself?
RENEW: Choose one lesson that another person may need to hear — not as advice, but as a reminder.
RELAX: Encourage one person today through your presence, words, service, or example.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I will become a reminder to everyone I meet.
DAY 15 OF 15
BETTER TODAY
The goal was never perfection. The goal is a practice you can return to.
REFLECT: Look in the mirror and ask: What has changed in how I see myself, think, or participate?
RENEW: Choose the parts of Reflect, Renew, Relax that you want to continue as your own daily practice.
RELAX: Make one commitment for tomorrow. Keep returning. Keep participating. Keep expanding.
MIRROR DECLARATION: I remember the power within. I Am Feeling Better Today.
