The Divine Power Within

“Divine Power is such a force that nothing can prevail against it.”

The Idea From Nowhere

What a great idea you just came up with. You were stumped and all of a sudden this great idea just popped into your head. Now you are excited because you have discovered a way to make something happen that didn’t look like it could happen 5 minutes ago. You could have panicked and threw in the towel. You could have given in to failure and accepted the fact that you just weren’t going to get this done. Yet instead you’ve come up with a great idea to get what you need at the time that you need it. You are an exceptional talent. You are pretty lucky. You are blessed. However, you must understand that this didn’t happen because of you. This happened because of something inside you. Something inside of you that is bigger than you. You came up with this great idea because you my friend are Divinely Powerful.

What does it mean to be Divinely Powerful? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary divine means; of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god. Therefore to be Divinely Powerful means you have the power of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god. So that means you have a divine power within you that is bigger than you. Yes you can substitute God or a god for whatever equivalent you believe in such as the Universe, Allah, Buddha, etc.

You Cannot Control It

Because it is Divine you cannot control it. You can’t magically turn it on and off. As an example the Sun has enormous power that we utilize every day of our lives. Yet you don’t have the power to turn on or off that power. Yes you can go inside a cement room and block all of the sun’s rays but that power is still there. But you know that as soon as you walk out into the sunlight that power will be right there for you to access. You can shield yourself from it but you can’t turn it on and off. The same goes for the power of a raging river or a tremendous storm. That power is out there and it is bigger than you. You get to choose to try and access it or try to avoid it. You have that same choice when it comes to your Divine Power.

How do you access the Divine Power within you? First you need to acknowledge that it is there. You need to believe that something bigger than you is inside you. When you believe that it changes your perspective on life. In any given moment you may feel helpless because of a difficult situation you are currently encountering. Yet because you believe you are Divinely Powerful you will think about ways to help yourself get out of that situation. You will have the resolve that there must be a way. You will have that resolve because you know the Divine Power within you can do all things. You may not be able to turn it on and off at will but you know when it is on it can get you out of any situation. When your Divine Power is on you can be the greatest you possible. The possibilities are infinite.

Faith is the Conduit

So even though you can’t turn your Divine Power on and off at will there is a way that you can access it. There is a way to make sure that the circuit switch that connects your Divine Power to you is closed and unbroken so that when that power is available it will flow directly to you. The way to close that circuit switch so the power can flow is to have Faith. Faith is the conduit to receive the Divine Power within. When you have faith in something you believe in that something even when you see no evidence that it is there. When you have faith in something you have confidence. When you have faith in something you can be at peace even with turmoil circles all around you. Faith is the key to allowing you to access your divine power within.

The opposite of faith is fear. Fear and faith are polar opposites that cannot coexist. You cannot fear something and have faith. You cannot have faith and fear at the same time. You have to pick a side and stick with it. If you decide to select fear then you open that circuit and thus prevent yourself from accessing your Divine Power within. Your Divine Power is bigger than you so it can still flow to you in a state of fear but it will not be easy. The flow will not be the same as it was when you were in a state of faith. When you have fear you are preventing yourself from getting the most from your Divine Power.

Survival is Necessary

To be clear we are not discussing the primal fear associated with survival. That fear is a gift given to you by your Divine Power to help you survive. The type of fear we are discussing is more aligned with the fear of success, the fear of failure, the fear of trust, the fear of ability, the fear of a good outcome, the fear of ridicule, the fear of disrespect, the fear of be treated fairly, etc. Those things have nothing to do with acute survival. When you have acute survival fear you take a quick action to survive and move on. When you fear like the examples above you take actions that don’t benefit you or just as bad you may take no action at all. When you aren’t helping yourself you can’t expect you Divine Power to come in and save the day. It doesn’t work like that.

Your divine power is there because your Divine Power wants you to get the most out of life. You have been granted a life to live and you have a responsibility to live it. Your Divine Power will not live it for you. Your divine power can guide you in times of need but it is your responsibility to do the work. When you are doing the work your Divine Power will pass on some of that power to help you along the way. When you have faith you are confident that the help is only moments away. You know that you can’t dictate when or how it will arrive but you know that it can and will. This makes you powerful. This makes you continue to take action when you can’t see the results you desire. This makes you have determination and confidence that all things are possible if you just believe. You ultimately get the most out of life because you truly believe there is something bigger than you inside you.

To access the divine power within you must have faith. Have faith in humanity. Have faith in your country. Have faith in your community. Have faith in your neighbor. Have faith in your loved ones. Have faith in yourself and most importantly have faith in the divine power within you. You have been granted a life to live and you are not living it alone. There is something bigger than you inside you and it is up to you to make sure that divine power can flow to you in times of need. In order for it to flow you must believe that you are Divinely Powerful and have faith in that power. Doing those two things will insure all of your ultimate success in this world. You we will live a life your divine power would be proud of. You will live a Divinely Powerful life. As always I wish you the best and remind you to enjoy the journey.

With Gratitude,

Drew
